It’s a celebration and you’re invited!
Grandchamps’ first anniversary is a celebration of a year of success with a
weekend of events including: pop-up shops, art vendors, and live entertainment.
fete will be held June 24-26, 2016 at Grandchamps Kitchen & Market: 197 Patchen Ave.
Friday is the kick-off with live performance by Strings N Skins for our monthly Fritai Friday
(6-9pm) event that indulges in the delights of Haitian street food like banan peze, griot, and
akra while vibing to Afro-Caribbean sounds.
Saturday is a full lineup with DJ Hard Hittin Harry (set 1-3pm), DJ Love (set 3:30-5:30pm), DJ
Sabine Blaizin (set 6-8pm) providing the party tunes all day. Haitian fare along with wine and
beer will be available for purchase to enjoy alongside the festivities.
Sunday will be a flea market of vendors (12-4pm) featuring artisans Askanya Chocolate, Pierre’s
Spicy, and more. Visual artists include Marlie Decopain, Richard Louissaint, Gina Samson. Plus a
special performance by Bohio Music.
