On Thursday June 21, 2018, President Jovenel Moïse visited the Plateau Central area to reiterate his promise for supplying 24hrs electricity around the country of Haiti. Accompanied by several official members of the government President Moïse participated at the reinstallement of three turbines at the Péligre hydroelectric power station, which plays a key role in the major project of supplying the country with 24-hour electricity.
The Head of State took the opportunity to announce to the people of the Plateau Central Department and the rest of the country, that work will be done to repair and build micro-networks to supply all homes with electrical energy 24 hours a day.
